I used to be sick all the time. &nbsp;The copays and hospital visits were driving me crazy!! When they <a href=\"http:\/\/www-dev.cookingwithque.com\/about\/\">found out that I had sarcoidosis,<\/a> through a lung biopsy &#8211; It. Changed. Everything. &nbsp;On top of that they learned that multiple reactions were occurring due to an egg and dairy allergy. &nbsp;Do you know how many things have dairy in it? It was even in the pills that several doctors were prescribing. &nbsp;Now, I pay attention to everything. &nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www-dev.cookingwithque.com\/2016\/05\/30\/how-to-read-food-labels\/\">I read the labels<\/a>. I pay attention to what I put inside of my body, I know when it&#8217;s lacking something.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Many times our body gives us clues to what it needs by the cravings that we get. What we have to do is think about the cravings that we want and give our body what we need, in the healthiest way possible.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chocolate\n<ul>\n<li>The Need: Lack of Magnesium &amp; Copper<\/li>\n<li>The Healthy Option: &nbsp;Eat More Yellow Foods, Butternut Squash, Bananas, Apples.<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Or add Carob or Cacao to your smoothie<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Dairy\n<ul>\n<li>The Need: &nbsp;Calcium<\/li>\n<li>The Healthy Option: &nbsp;<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dark Leafy Greens, Almonds, White Beans, Oranges<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Nuts\n<ul>\n<li>The Need: &nbsp;<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Protein, Fatty Acids, Healthy Sodium<\/span><\/li>\n<li>The Healthy Option: &nbsp;Unsalted Seeds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Fried Foods\n<ul>\n<li>The Need: &nbsp;<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lack of Good Fats<\/span><\/li>\n<li>The Healthy Option: &nbsp;<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Olives, Avocados, Seeds, Healthy Oils<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Sweet\/Sour\n<ul>\n<li>The Need: &nbsp;Liver Congestion<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Healthy Option: &nbsp;Add Lemon to your water<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Carbs\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Need: &nbsp;Magnesium<\/span><\/li>\n<li>The Healthy Option: &nbsp;<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Spinach, Black Beans, Bananas<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Salt\n<ul>\n<li>The Need: &nbsp;<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Healthy Sodium<\/span><\/li>\n<li>The Healthy Option: &nbsp;Himalayan Salt, Celery Juice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Caffeine\n<ul>\n<li>The Need:&nbsp; Adrenals are Exhausted<\/li>\n<li>The Healthy Option: &nbsp;<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Licorice Root, Vitamin B5, Vitamin C<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Ice\n<ul>\n<li>The Need: <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Iron Deficiency<\/span><\/li>\n<li>The Healthy Option: &nbsp;<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Leafy Greens<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is crazy right? Now, the goal is to keep this in sight when you get these<a href=\"http:\/\/www.livingwhole.org\/causes-of-food-cravings-revealed\/\"> cravings<\/a>, find the healthy way to satisfy the craving. Its honestly starts with your mindset. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You make the decision to do things differently.
